Marti Rodriguez Scholarship
Established for the Texas Tennis & Education Foundation in 2007 in recognition of long time USTA Texas Section employee, Martha E. Rodriguez. Mrs. Rodriguez passed away on April 17, 2007, after a two-year illness. She worked diligently for junior tennis in Texas for 23 years of her life. She treated all with dignity and patience as she helped hundreds of young players and family find their way through tennis rules, regulations, and opportunities. The respect from all her "kids" is unmatched. Her indelible stamp on junior tennis in Texas is appropriately remembered through this scholarship funded by friends and family throughout Texas.
